This plan can be used to provide your whole family with funeral cover. Dependent lives that may be covered under your Excellence Family Funeral Plan include your spouse, children (adopted and stepchildren included), parents and parents-in-law and any other family member such as uncles, aunts, brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces, that are financially dependent on you.

 

BENEFITS

–  The Funeral Benefit is the main benefit available to all Lives Assured and provides a lump sum on the death of the Life Assured.

–  The Accidental Death Benefit provides a lump sum on the accidental death of the Funeral Benefit Life Assured (all Lives Assured qualify for this optional benefit).

–  The optional Family Income Benefit provides for the payment of 10% of the Principal Life Assured’s Funeral Benefit sum assured on a monthly basis for a period of 6 months on the death of the Principal Life Assured.

–  The Premium Waiver Death Benefit is automatically included. Should the Principal Life Assured die, the Funeral Benefit and elected Accidental Death Benefit will be provided for free to all the Lives Assured on the Policy for a period of 5 years.

–  The Cashback Benefit may be added as part of the Excellence Family Funeral Plan.

–  Assupol On-Call is automatically included as part of the Excellence Family Funeral Plan. The Assupol On-Call benefit includes: transportation of the deceased, guaranteed hospital admission and medical, financial and tutor advice lines.

Benefits are provided for life and will not cease once you turn 65, retire or leave your present employment.

Cover for children remain in force beyond their 21st birthday.
