Real People was established in 2001 with the aim of creating the operational capability of collecting on partial and non-performing consumer finance portfolios in South Africa.<\/p>\n
Initially this capability was used with great success in the acquisition of partially and non-performing unsecured credit portfolios.<\/p>\n
This core competence \u2013 to collect unsecured debt in the supposedly \u201chigher risk\u201d end of the market – has enabled us to take opportunities and diversify into a number of related areas of business, namely:<\/p>\n
