These expenses could include items such as funeral costs, the cost of a wake, medical costs or the cost of erecting a tombstone. This cover is for life, for as long as premiums are paid you can choose which family members to cover. Claims are paid within three working days once Regent Life has received all the necessary documentation and the death certificate. Children are covered until their twenty-first birthday.<\/p>\n
\nChoose to insure your parents or up to eight members of your extended family and rest assured that you will have cash to help pay for funeral costs, the cost of a wake, medical costs or the cost of erecting a tombstone. This cover is for life, for as long as premiums are paid. Claims are paid within three working days once Regent Life has received all the necessary documentation and the death certificate. \nShould the main life insured die, Regent will continue to pay premiums for a period of ten years. This cover is applicable to the following benefits:

\nSave for your retirement and receive a tax-free payout before you turn sixty five. The money which you place into the Savings Units will be invested in the Regent Wealth Provider Portfolio. Our experienced portfolio managers will determine the most suitable mix of investments to provide steady long-term growth
\nand income. Cash may be taken out once in the first five years and then the amount is limited by law to the amount paid in plus interest at 5% compound per year. After the fifth year, any amount up to the cash value may be taken out.<\/p>\n
\nChoose life insurance cover from R30,000 to R150,000 and your beneficiaries will receive a lump sum payment in the event of your death.<\/p>\n
\nShould you have an accident that prevents you from working, you will receive a monthly cash payout to help supplement your income for up to twelve months prior to attainment of age sixty five.<\/p>\n
\nShould you have an accident that leads to the loss of your limbs, you will receive a cash payout to help meet the expenses of recovery and rehabilitation. Should the accident result in you becoming permanently disabled, an amount is also payable to help replace your income.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>If death occurs more than 100 kilometres from where the burial will take place (within South Africa), all costs related to transporting the mortal remains are covered. Also covered is the arrangement of a funeral or cremation if death occurs outside the normal place of residence; as well as the transferring of ashes to the normal place of residence after cremation within South Africa. The repatriation benefit also provides a help-line service to give you access to advice on funeral or cremation arrangements.<\/p>\n

\nThis benefit is automatically included in your policy at no extra cost. Every five years, a cash payout is made to you if the policy is active, and has no arrears.<\/p>\n

Should you become pregnant and go on unpaid maternity leave or be retrenched twelve months or more after taken out a policy, your policy premiums will be paid for up to six months.
